About Me

I am a dynamic queer and trans professional with over 4 years of education and experience within Theatre Production. I am known for the proven ability to adapt and excel in multiple aspects of theatre production including stagehand experience; set dressing & props making; and sound design for the “virtual stage”.

I am skilled in various digital office tools such as Google, Mac/Apple, and Microsoft applications; sound editing software such as GarageBand and Audacity; as well as communication / social media applications including Zoom, Discord, Slack, Facebook, Instagram and Canva.

I am passionate about utilizing theatre to support philanthropic Human Rights organizations such as PFLAG Canada and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.

Theatre Production Skillset

Stagehand Experience

I worked alongside the lighting, sound, and stage carp crews to set up and tear down equipment; build trellises; hang speakers and lighting equipment at substantial heights based on corresponding sound and light plots.

-Back of House Crew, Crow’s Theatre

Set Dressing & Props Making

I worked closely with the Set Designer and oversaw the execution of back drops and props within a 120-seat black box theatre; utilizing multi-media disciplines including paper-like materials, carpentry, ladders, glow-in-the-dark paint, texture-creating chemicals, and paint.

-Head Scenic Art, Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet) by Ann-Marie MacDonald

Sound Design in COVID Times

I managed, scheduled, and collaborated closely with our design and technical teams, consisting of 11 crew members within the technical crew, foley crew, dialogue recording and editing crew, and sound editing crew. The education allowed through covid promoted my ability to delegate and work remotely with our sound team resulting in a successful outcome.
